Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport and transfer to your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the riverbank. Take in the breathtaking scenery and unwind after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you can also explore Victoria Falls or enjoy the lodge amenities.

This morning, fly from Victoria Falls to Maun and continue by light aircraft to the Makgadikgadi region. After check-in at your lodge, enjoy an afternoon safari activity—either a game drive or a cultural walk with San Bushmen. The vast, open landscapes and the sense of solitude here are striking, making this an unforgettable start to your Botswana adventure.

Today is dedicated to exploring the incredible Makgadikgadi salt pans. Start with a morning game drive or bush walk, followed by leisure time at the lodge. Later, head out for a meerkat encounter or quad biking (seasonal) and end the day with sundowners on the pans, where the silence and landscape are otherworldly.

Take a scenic light aircraft transfer to the Khwai Concession bordering Moremi. Settle into your tented camp or lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive in this predator-rich area. The Khwai region is renowned for its high density of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and wild dogs.

Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives in the Khwai area. The varied habitats support abundant wildlife, from herds of buffalo to elusive leopards. Optional activities include a mokoro excursion (water levels permitting) and night drives to spot nocturnal animals like civets, genets, and hyenas.

Today, fly deeper into the Okavango Delta to a water-based camp on Nxaragha Island. After lunch, explore the peaceful delta channels by mokoro, spotting frogs, birds, and smaller mammals in the reeds. The serenity and intimacy of this experience contrast with the land-based safaris.

Spend the day on mokoro excursions and motorboat safaris, gliding through lily-covered channels and open lagoons. Wildlife sightings may include sitatunga, hippos, and abundant birdlife. Depending on water levels, enjoy a guided nature walk on nearby islands to discover animal tracks, plants, and the delta ecosystem.

Depart the Delta and fly to Kasane, where you’ll be transferred by road into Namibia’s Caprivi Strip. Arrive at a riverside lodge on the Kwando River. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive or boat cruise in Bwabwata National Park, which is rich in elephants, antelope, and birdlife.

Enjoy a morning game drive in Bwabwata or Mahango National Parks, followed by a relaxing afternoon or optional cultural visit to a nearby village. In the evening, take a sunset boat safari on the Kwando River, a unique way to experience the Caprivi’s diverse ecosystems and wildlife.

After breakfast, cross the border back into Botswana and drive to your lodge on the Chobe Riverfront. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Chobe River, famous for its huge elephant populations, hippos, crocodiles, and abundant bird species—all viewed from the water.

Begin the day with an early game drive in Chobe National Park, known for some of the best game viewing in Southern Africa. After lunch, relax at your lodge or join an afternoon river cruise. This is your final chance to soak up the African wilderness and photograph the amazing wildlife.

After a final breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Kasane Airport for your onward journey. Your 12-day adventure through Botswana and Namibia concludes with lasting memories of wildlife, spectacular landscapes, and immersive cultural experiences.
