Welcome to the Arctic! Upon arrival in Longyearbyen, the northernmost town in the world, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Take the evening to stroll through this remote frontier town, surrounded by stark mountains and icy fjords.

After breakfast, explore Longyearbyen at your own pace. Around midday, you'll gather with fellow explorers and your expedition guides for lunch. In the afternoon, we board the MV Sjoveien, our expedition vessel, and set sail through the dramatic Isfjorden. The adventure begins!
Over the next 10 days, our journey will be shaped by sea ice, weather, and wildlife. With a flexible and spontaneous route, the goal is to explore by Zodiac daily, land on remote Arctic shores, and maximize encounters with iconic Arctic wildlife — especially polar bears.
Potential Highlights of the Voyage:

    • Northwest Spitsbergen
    • Visit Ny-Ålesund, the northernmost permanently inhabited research station, from where Amundsen and Nobile launched daring expeditions to the North Pole. On Danskøya, view the historic remains of Andrée’s and Wellman’s polar attempts.
    • Iconic Arctic Fjords
    • Navigate some of Svalbard’s most breathtaking fjords:
      • Liefdefjorden ("Fjord of Love") with its towering Monaco Glacier, nesting pink-footed geese, and eiders
      • Krossfjorden, home to the majestic 14th of July Glacier, alive with kittiwakes and Brünnich’s guillemots
      • Raudfjorden, a serene landscape of sculpted glaciers and seal-studded waters
